The success of the first Air Jordan encouraged Nike to release the Air Jordan 2 in 1986. Designed by Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore, the Air Jordan II was unique at the time in that had a luxury feel. The Air Jordan 2 also retailed with a full length encapsulated Nike air bubble for maximum comfort.
