They look at the recent regulatory friction and see a state in retreat, desperate to muzzle a rogue AI agent before it destabilizes the social order. They see a "war" between innovation and authoritarianism.
They are completely wrong.
What the mainstream media misinterprets as "wariness" is actually a high-stakes stress test. Beijing isn't trying to kill OpenClaw; they are using it to build a more resilient, localized intelligence infrastructure that functions without a single Western dependency. If you think the CCP is "scared" of an LLM-based agent, you don’t understand how industrial-scale digital sovereignty works.
